Kitchen Drain Reminder
This is a friendly reminder for all residents to please place solid food waste (including rice, pasta, coffee grounds, used cooking oil, etc.) in your kitchen trash can and not your garbage disposal. Over time, these items can build up in the drain and cause clogs. Thank you.
New Year Cleaning?
Getting rid of clutter doesn’t have to be a long, drawn-out process. Try these tips,
- Toss 10: Grab a trash bag. Find ten items in your home that you no longer need or want and put them in the bag. Toss the bag in the trash or put it in your donation box.
- Clear a Surface: Find at least one cluttered surface, such as a coffee table or dresser top, and completely clear it of all clutter, swiftly discarding any trash.
- Pick through a junk drawer: Whatever you can’t identify or is clearly junk (meaning you’ll never use it) get tossed.
- Throw away junk mail: Quickly go through your pile of mail and dispose of anything that is clearly junk mail.
- Put things away: While carrying a large shopping bag, go through your home and put in the bag at least eight things that are not in their correct place. Then, deliver those items to their proper homes.
Last But Not Least, Looking For Something To Do This Weekend?
Chinatown’s First Fridays – Feb. 2: Explore the vibrant evening of Los Angeles’ Chinatown, where unique small businesses, contemporary art and cultural spaces remain open late. This historic neighborhood hosts pop-up vendors (at Chung King Plaza), DJ-curated music (at both Chung King Plaza and Gin Ling Way Plaza), art galleries, and many local restaurants, welcoming visitors after hours.
