5 Great Reasons to Join Our HOA Board:
With the Annual Election just around the corner, here are some reasons to serve on Santee Village Board:
- Meet New People: HOA meetings offer opportunities to meet your neighbors and foster healthy relationships with fellow community members.
- Safeguard Property Value: When you join the HOA board, you can play a more active role in enforcing community rules and overseeing maintenance, which can impact property values and enhance our community’s overall standard of living.
- Gain a Better Understanding of the Laws: Volunteering as a Board member will make you well-versed in laws and regulations related to condo associations. It will also give you a good grasp of finances and budgeting.
- Help Fellow Residents: Part of the Board’s job is to hear out concerns from residents, and, when possible, do something about them. By being a part of the Board, you can make decisions that have a direct positive impact on the community and your neighbors.
- Have Fun: Although running an HOA is a serious responsibility, it can still be great fun. The adrenaline rush after making an important decision, the feeling of triumph following successful negotiation with a vendor, and the sense of fellowship at each community meeting — these are just a few examples of how much you can enjoy serving on Santee Village’s HOA board.
Suspicion of Mail Theft:
With mail theft on the rise over the past several years, if you suspect that you are a victim of mail theft, you are not alone. For any possible mail thefts, please contact the United States Postal Inspection Service by calling 1-877-876-2455 or by visiting the following website: https://www.uspis.gov/report.
