ANNUAL ELECTION:

Santee Village’s reconvened Annual Meeting will be held Monday, January 13, 2025, at 6:30 PM in the Management Office & virtually.  In accordance with Santee Village’s Bylaws, we have a quorum of 25% (37 members).

HOLIDAY FUND:

We’ve received several requests from residents to extend the deadline for holiday fund contributions. We’re pleased to announce that contributions will now be accepted until next Wednesday, 12/18/2024, which is just 5 days away. If you’d like to contribute to this year’s Holiday Fund, please write a check payable to “Santee Village” and note “Holiday Fund” in the memo line.  If you would like to give something to a staff member, please feel free to drop off an envelope (or gift item), marked with the employee’s name, to the Management Office for distribution to that individual.  If no one is in the Management Office when you want to leave your gift, please contact Security at 323-501-1119 to have them place your gift in the Management Office. We appreciate any contributions and thank you for allowing us to serve you this year.   

LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO DO THIS WEEKEND?

• Dec. 14. One of the nation’s premier pet events, PetCon, arrives at Playa Vista’s upscale Wallis Annenberg PetSpace this weekend. The event features meet-and-greets with pet influencers, a holiday market and engaging speaker sessions. Guests can bring their pets for caricatures, treats from Woof Gang Bakery and an agility course led by Baloo the Bunny Eared Bully. On-site pet adoptions will also be available. A portion of ticket sales supports the Wallis Annenberg PetSpace Extraordinary Care Fund. Saturday at 10 a.m. 12005 Bluff Creek Drive, Los Angeles. petcon.co

• Dec. 15. Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows is hosting a free holiday celebration featuring live music, performances and family-friendly activities like photos with Santa (reservations required), cookie decorating, a bounce house and a snow machine. Enjoy dishes from FIG Restaurant and local favorites like BOA Steak and Sushi Roku, plus a fire truck showcase, SMDP horses and hourly raffles with prizes. Donations will benefit Santa MoniCARES, the Westside Food Bank and Chrysalis. Sunday, from 1-4 p.m. 101 Wilshire Blvd., Santa Monica. fairmont-miramar.com
