SOCIAL COMMITTEE:

We are excited to announce that the Board has approved the formation of a Social Committee for our community! This committee will be responsible for planning and organizing events that help foster a sense of connection among residents. If you are interested in being a part of this committee and helping to create fun and engaging activities for Santee Village, we invite you to volunteer. Please reach out to management for more information or to express your interest in joining!

PET REMINDER:

Outside of your home, all pets must be kept on a leash no longer than six (6) feet. The pet owner or person walking the animal is responsible for cleaning up after the pet. Dog waste stations are conveniently located on the premises, so there is no excuse for leaving animal feces on the in the common areas or in front of courtyard units.

WEEKEND HAPPENINGS:

  • Gloria Molina Grand Park’s Easy Mornings: Enjoy a relaxing Saturday morning at Grand Park with a free community day this Saturday, 04/05/25 (and 04/19/25), created to rejuvenate the body and mind after the wildfires. Activities include yoga, arts and crafts, outdoor games, dancing, music, and nature-inspired events, along with a dog adoption fair. The Bob Baker Marionette Theater will entertain with delightful puppet shows, while Smorgasburg offers a curated marketplace with local vendors and delicious picnic-ready food. Join us this Saturday at 10 a.m. at 200 N. Grand Ave., Los Angeles.
  • Helmut Lang: What Remains Behind: Austrian-born Helmut Lang stepped away from fashion two decades ago to dedicate himself entirely to art. Now, with the support of the MAK Center for Art and Architecture, his first solo institutional exhibition is debuting in Los Angeles, hosted in the iconic Schindler House. the exhibition features a series of freestanding sculptures shaped like fists, crafted from found or discarded materials that “both envision the future and bring the past to life.   • Pysanka Festival: Learn the art of decorating traditional Ukrainian Easter eggs (pysanka) using colorful wax. The event features Ukrainian food, entertainment, and an Easter market. Donations at the door, along with proceeds from food and vendors, will support humanitarian war relief for Ukraine. Hosted by the Ukrainian Culture Center, 4315 Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90029, from noon to 5:00pm.
