COMMUNITY SAFETY:
REMINDER: Do not leave any common area doors propped open. This includes doors to the stairways and the underground garage. We do not want unwelcome guests to have easy access to our building.
Also, if you received a call from the callbox, please confirm you know the person who is calling. Do not buzz in strangers into the building.
If you see any suspicious behavior or believe a crime is in progress, don’t hesitate to report it to LAPD and Security (call or text) Security IMMEDIATELY at 323-501-1119. Your vigilance can help keep Santee Village safe and secure.
TIPS TO LIVE GREENER IN CELEBRATION OF EARTH DAY 2025:
- Use a reusable water bottle
- Recycle grocery bags/Use reusable shopping bags
- Wash your laundry in cold water whenever you can
- Swap your plastic toothbrush for a bamboo toothbrush
- Say “no” to straws
- Unplug electronics when not in use
- Change light bulbs to LEDs
- Use rechargeable batteries instead of disposables.
- Put on a sweater and socks before turning up the heat/Oen a window to cool down your home
- Buy better: opt for products that are sustainable, high-quality and that can be repaired
- Buy locally-made goods
- Take public transit if available or carpool
- “My next car will be electric!”
