QUICK REMINDERS:

SMOKING AND CIGARETTE BUTTS!

• Smoking/vaping is prohibited in all common areas, including the hallways and stairways.
• Please do not discard cigarette butts in the common areas. In addition to being a violation of the Association’s rules and a serious fire hazard, improperly disposed cigarette butts pose a danger to local wildlife, particularly birds, which may mistakenly use them when building their nests. This can lead to harmful exposure to toxins and potential harm to the animals. Take an ashtray or an empty can outside with you when you seek a smoke. Before you discard the cigarette butt into the trash, be sure it is fully out. Thank you for keeping our community clean and safe!

PET POLICY:

• Outside of your home, all pets must be kept on a leash no longer than six (6) feet.
• The pet owner or person walking the animal is responsible for cleaning up after the pet.
• Dog waste stations are conveniently located on the premises, so there is no excuse for leaving animal feces in the common areas or in front of courtyard units.

COMMUNITY SAFETY:

• Do not leave any common area doors propped open. This includes doors to the stairways and the underground garage. We do not want unwelcome guests to have easy access to our building.
• Also, if you receive a call from the callbox, please confirm you know the person who is calling. Do not buzz strangers into the building.
• If you see any suspicious behavior or believe a crime is in progress, don’t hesitate to report it to LAPD and Security (call or text) Security IMMEDIATELY at 323-501-1119. Your vigilance can help keep Santee Village safe and secure.
