Executive Session – 6:30 pm (by invitation only).

General Session – 7:00 pm (all homeowners welcome to attend).

Drains Maintenance:

If you have problems with slow drains, please do not use common drain “cleaners” or “openers” such as DRANO, or other similar products, particularly acid-based products.  These types of chemicals are harmful to pipes, and could potentially cause more harm than good.  Additionally, the gases generated by these acid-based solvents can be harmful if inhaled by you or others should they vent through the main sewer line venting system.

If you experience slow or clogged drains, please contact a licensed plumber as the easiest and most effective means of clearing drain lines is to snake the line and remove the clog.  If you need assistance, Management can refer you to a plumber who has worked in the buildings in the past. Finally, if you typically use your bathtub as a shower, you may consider removing the pop-up drain closer and purchasing a strainer.  The pop-up is easy to remove and strainers can be purchased at home improvement centers such as Home Depot for a few dollars and will capture hair before it clogs your drains.

Please Pick Up After Your Pets:

Besides being unsightly and smelly, animal waste can be hazardous to the health of other residents and other pets. One of the most common forms of disease transmission between dogs is through fecal matter. Furthermore, animal fecal matter serves as a food source for rats and will encourage a rat infestation if it accumulates on the grounds of the community. Once established, a rat infestation is a health hazard in itself and very difficult to completely extinguish.  When walking your pet in our community, remember that it should be leashed. Additionally, it is important to remember to immediately clean up after your pet. Thank you for your cooperation and contribution not only to the beautification of Santee Village, but also to the elimination of one of the most irritating nuisances in our community!
