TRASH DISPOSAL REMINDER:
- All trash MUST be securely bagged prior to being disposed in trash chute. Loose trash is more likely to get hung up and cause a bigger clog.
- Do NOT dispose of furniture, construction waste, cardboard boxes, or oversized items, etc., in the trash chute.
- Oversized trash bags and/or (broken down) cardboard boxes must be taken to the Trash Room and disposed of in the appropriate bins.
- Close trash chute completely after use.
- Do NOT leave any trash items on the floor of the trash vestibule. Trash serves as a food source for rats and will encourage a rat infestation if it accumulates on the floors/grounds of the community. Once established, a rat infestation is a health hazard in itself and very difficult to completely extinguish.
