The Board of Directors has recently approved a request to perform interior filming in a unit on the 11th floor of the Cornell Building. All necessary precautions are being taken to ensure minimal disruption to residents and the property. Filming will occur TUESDAY, APRIL 17 starting at 7:00 AM until 9:00 PM. Santee Village is being compensated for this project.
AT&T Fiber Optic Upgrade
AT&T will be on property to begin the initial stages of building fiber optic upgrade starting Monday, April 16. This portion of the project will take a few weeks. The next stage of the fiber optic upgrade will require entry into residential units. Ample notice will be provided before this phase of the project. Stay tuned for progress updates.
Annual Fire Drill & Safety Presentation – Tuesday April 24
Santee Village Condominium Association will be holding its annual fire drill and safety presentation on TUESDAY, APRIL 24. The fire drill will start at 1:00 PM. If you are home, it is recommended you participate in the drill. A safety presentation will also be held the same day at 7:00 PM in the Management Office. Santee Courtyard Yard Sale – Sunday, April 29
The Santee Courtyard Sale has returned! On Sunday, April 29 from 11 AM to 3 PM, residents from Santee Court, Grether & Grether, and Textile will be participating in a yard sale in the courtyard. There will be live music and food available for purchase. If you are interested in decluttering your home and making a few bucks at the same time, please contact Julie Rivera Hernandez (JuRivera@essex.com) to reserve a space. Be sure to act quickly, as space is limited.
Common Area Lighting Upgrade
As you may have noticed, the lights in the subterranean parking garage look slightly different. This is part of an Association wide effort to convert all common area lighting to LED lighting. The conversion will save the Association a substantial amount of money in electricity costs while reducing our carbon footprint. The LED conversion comes at no cost to the Association. LED conversion will extend to all stairwells and residential floors. Stay tuned for updates.

Please Pick Up After Your Animal
There has been an increase of dog feces in the elevator and the subterranean parking garage. We understand accidents happen. However, if your animal has an accident in any common area, please make sure you clean up the mess. Repeated infractions will be subject to disciplinary action. Be kind; do not leave a mess behind. In addition, no pets are permitted on the rooftop.
Trash Room Cleanliness
Maintenance is reporting an increase of trash being improperly disposed of in both trash rooms. The trash rooms are vital to the cleanliness of the community. Please make sure to place only recyclables in the recycle bin and break down/flatten boxes. This will ensure there is ample dumpster space for all residents.
Subterranean Parking Garage Cleaning – April 11- 13 (8am-5pm)
