New General Manager – Pam Pham

The Board and Management is pleased to announce that arrival of Santee Village’s new GM, Pam Pham! Pam is a DTLA local and has lived in the area for several years. She is well versed in the community and is well qualified for the GM position. We are overjoyed that she will be joining the community. Her estimated start date will be August 14.

Fun fact: Pam has her own line of boutique jams.

Plumbing Reminders:

In condos high-rise buildings, units share plumbing and HVAC lines. It is required that all residents notify Management before scheduling a vendor to perform any work. Our building is unique, and we must coordinate all plumbing/HVAC work with the Building Engineer as it may affect your neighbors. Management highly recommends using an HOA-recommended vendor as they are familiar with how the building operates.

Board of Directors Meeting – Monday, August 28 (7:30 PM)

The next meeting of the Santee Village Board of Directors will be held on Monday, August 28 at 7:30 PM. The meeting will be held virtually and in person in the Management Office. Members are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Fashion District Community Clean Up – Saturday, July 29 (8 AM – 12 PM)

The LA Fashion District is holding a community clean-up on Saturday, July 29 between 8 AM and 12 PM at 8th and Santee. If you are interested in participating, please visit www.fashiondistrict.org/do/la-fashion-district-community-clean-up.

No Smoking allowed on HOA Rooftops

There is no smoking allowed on the rooftops. In recent years the HOA has gone through a costly roof replacement and smoking/ash damage on the HOA Rooftops will void the warranty. Residents who are reported smoking in unauthorized areas will be brought to a hearing and fined.

The Management Office will be closed on Monday, May 29, due to Memorial Day. Please report urgent items (plumbing, access control, etc.) to onsite security.

HVAC Service – Thank you!

Thank you to those that participated in the recent HVAC maintenance program. If you were unable to be part of the recent service, no problem! An additional service will be scheduled several months from now. The goal is to provide consistent service opportunities that will ensure the HVAC is well maintained which results in lower costs.

Community Update May 8th

Access Doors:

Please make sure that all access doors to the building are closed when entering/exiting the building. This also includes stairway doors. These are fire doors and should not be left propped open.

Interim General Manager

Ariana’s last day as your General Manager will be Thursday, May 11, 2023. In the meantime, Regional Manager, Sheridan Thompson, will act as the interim manager. Please email Sheridan Thompson at sthompson@actionlife.com with any questions or concerns you may have.

Water Shut-Off W 5/10 for 738-03 Stack

A water shut-off is scheduled on Wednesday, May 10th between 9 AM – 12 PM, affecting residents in the 738-03 stack. There will be no water in the unit. Please plan accordingly.

Community Update April 25th

Access Doors:

Please make sure that all access doors to the building are closed when entering/exiting the building. This also includes stairway doors. These are fire doors and should not be left propped open.

All moves require a moving coordinator to ensure a smooth, safe, and successful move. Please contact Management to schedule your move. A 7-day ‘notice is required.

Parking:

All Santee Village residents have assigned spots either in the underground garage or the Maple Garage. DO NOT park in any spot that is not assigned to you. Residents parking in an unauthorized spot may result in being towed at their own expense. Residents abusing the 10-min parking garage may also be towed at their own expense.
